julianne moore is a skilled sobber. her stream of tears are well documented here. i sort of love her for her comedic abilities (which we don’t see enough of) on 30 rock. at events and things i’ve caught a glimpse of her personality and thankfully she isn’t nearly as tortured or tragic in person. phew. my first interaction with her was several years ago when i lived in hell’s kitchen i bumped in to her while she was chaperoning a her kids local field trip. it was one of those typical moments where i had no idea why she looked familiar to me (it’s hard to recognize these folks before they get 5 hours of hair and makeup) but she was trying to get a coat on a kid with one arm and keeping two others from meeting an early death with the bumper of a cab. thankfully, the kids were spared and on that day she didn’t have her expert crying skills on display.
